We met at a cross city event, where Sue stood out, because of the ease at which she connected with the city leaders as well as those who were waiting tables at the event. With Sue, what you see is what you get. Sue takes in all points of view, carefully weighs the information for accuracy with sincerity and value and then gives thought to the impact on our society across all backgrounds. She considers all persons; including those who are marginalized. Sue can be counted on to do the right thing while in office.”

  • “I would like to tell my own personal story about Sue Durichko. Sue showed up in solidarity to support local 1363 while on strike. It was late December in the bitter cold and rain. She came on her lunch break to bring us donuts and support. She walked through the cold and mud in her work clothes and heels as if it didn’t even faze her. Her thoughtful sincerity shined through as she showed concern not only for us but also our families, her empathy for people was apparent. She continued to call and to check in on us. Then she came back a couple of weeks later to hold the line for over three hours; holding a sign in the cold. While there she listened with compassion to the stories we shared.

Sue is a concerned citizen and friend to local 1363. She has a passion for public service and she keeps her compassion on full display. She is more than qualified and deserving of the office she seeks in the Ohio State Senate. She has our full support!”

  • “I had the pleasure of working with Sue during our campaign, we were running on a slate for Parma Heights City Council. I quickly came to know her as honest, deeply caring, present in the moment and a champion for all. We talked about various topics and issues facing our city and the surrounding communities, during our many hours of door knocking. Hearing her passionately share her ideas with neighbors and seeing how she was able to connect with and find common ground with each one, even when view points differed, was a true inspiration. I have every confidence that Sue is uniquely qualified to work with parties on both sides of the aisle, to pass common sense legislation and get things done! I am so very proud to support Sue for the Ohio State Senate district 24. I can’t wait for her to make our voices back home, heard in the Ohio state capitol.”
