The preservation of democracy is Sue’s top priority, without it, the voice and the will of the voter is destroyed.

• SUE BELIEVES democracy is crucial as it ensures a government by the people, for the people and through the people the decisions shall be made.

• SUE ENCOURAGES the collective to understand the impact of an engaged community and the power of the voting process. An informed and engaged community that collectively protects democracy will uphold individual freedoms, encourage civic participation and promote stability through the peaceful transition of power.

• SUE UNDERSTANDS and respects varying perspectives on issues and she is committed to understanding her community in order to vote in the interest of the collective, through being a dutiful instrument to the people she serves.

• SUE WILL combat any attempted attacks through the legislative process. Additionally it is of the utmost importance to educate voters, to encourage voters and to ensure that we remove barriers to voters exercising their rights.

• SUE BELIEVES in the initiative “Citizens Not Politicians” to ensure districts are fairly balanced and represented. She also supports the aspects of creating more ease and flexibility in the voting process to encourage higher turnout that is representative of all people.
